Wappingers Falls Pedestrian Struck

A Wappingers Falls man hit by a car crossing the street Thursday, received non-life threatening injuries, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office,

The incident took place around 5:44 p.m. at Myers Corner Road near Blackthorn Loop, said Capt, John Watterson.

The man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck, Watterson said.

He was transported to Vassar Hospital, with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
